So the first day of campus has already begun and first years are walking around with plastic bags of notepads and stationary. LoL. I think someone needs to tell them they won't be making much notes this year. As for the rest of the campus inhabitants, it's not what you're carrying, it's what you're carrying it in. I suppose this does not apply to all of you.. since some students have other wordly concerns. But if you have a knack for fashion, then having the right campus bag should be an important statement piece.
Last year I noticed the vintage satchel being used by both males and females, if you enjoy the old school vibe then satchel would be best. The more vintage the better. While this trend is still very apparant the ultimate boho bag is also a fave amongst the students. With its array of colours and patterns I also wouldn't mind being an acclaimed hippy (not that I ever had a problem with being called a hippy). These bags are cheaper and easier to find not to mention really trendy. If you refuse to conform - like me... then getting a leather backpack would be the way to go. Not only is it such a relief to carry, it lasts longer, carries all my books and most importantly, IT GOES WITH EVERYTHING.
I got my bag from Oh So Boho just outside Cavendish mall, luckily it was on sale. Other trends...
